02 Tool selection

Choose a robot tool

Add an image or orbit video, describe the operation, and compare the tested push-push finger library. You remain responsible for load direction, clearance, and final dimensions.

Part and operation

Find a suitable end effector

The analysis stays in this browser. An image can describe shape, but only you can confirm whether the part should be gripped, pushed, or tightened.

Tested finger library

Twenty tool types in two orientations

Flat, claw, scoop, V-cradle, hook, magnet, screwdriver, hex, Torx, socket, wrench and probe tips share one replaceable latch interface. Axial tools default to the Y shoulder; Z variants remain available for compact side loading.

Before printing

A recommendation still requires review

The generator preserves the tested latch root and provides a constrained starting point. Production use still requires dimensional review, a printed fit coupon, clearance checks and a current TCP.

What this page does

  • Measures simple visual geometry locally
  • Ranks tools against the selected operation
  • Enforces Y for axial push and torque tasks
  • Exports CAD references and review metadata

What remains unresolved

  • True scale without a calibration reference
  • Material strength and required torque
  • Collision clearance around the complete fingers
  • Installed tool geometry and TCP verification

Physical boundary

  • No arbitrary Forge code is executed
  • No browser-to-robot dispatch exists
  • Printed drivers are light duty
  • Operator approval remains external
